    Hi Guys
I'll be home in about 10 days, Its scary!
Im expected to arrive at Melbourne Airport on the 6th jan 21:20.
I hear up in the high country it snowed over Christmas which is really retarded on the ground that:
    A) its Summer there.
    B) It didn't snow here.

Anyway Im looking forward to an Aussie Summer (flips off the entire Northen Hemisphere) and some seeing old friends.

    See you soon

Stu (The Canadian) decided that as it was the premier of The Holidays, a good night on the town was in order.
As was Sunday, I dressed naturally in my weekend best; Nice Clean Shirt and Upbeat T (see left).
When Stuart arrived, i was quite distressed as he had opted for a more of a casual outfitted.
Never the less my dressing style proved irrellevent as i spent most of the night cloaked in my snuggy Hoodie (oh the bane of Winter!!)

Our Original plan was to take the express train to Heilbronn as visited some well heeled bars and mingle with some interesting bar butterflies but our planned switched to just going to local pubs, as it was announced that by doing so, two other would be able to join us.

So we swanned (yes SWANNED, I was it quite the mood!) to the Servo and picked up some Bier ( Will: half litre German can x2, Stu 1 litre Danish can x2)
Then is was to the pool hole to sink a few balls and bier.
Once we were done (drunk), we wandered back to my loft and feasted on Fatty Maccas into the wee hours.

..Then Stuart vomited in my room.

    Thank you Stuart.

Make T-shirts, Read Spanish, Feel alone.
Gee, writing this post is harder then i thought. Believe me, there are oddles of interesting tales and feeling bouncing around this `brain' of mine, it just squeezing them out thats the trouble, plus my english is sooo screwed (not a good thing for an aspiring journalist eh?).
It dawned on me today when i wrote my 2nd test for the whole year (no lie kiddies).
It was the biggest piece of rubbish ever, the thought of the grade makes wince.
Maybe i should just give up on english and concentrate on German, or Spanish and French which i started last week.
They are in book form is actually quite easy, it's the speech thats the tricky part (my spanish sounds like i've got ants infested in my mouth and my French is comparable to my english at 2am on Friday)
Luckily my minor creative flare is good distraction from the drudgery, i'm free in my bedroom to compile of manner of arts, from painting water colour robots to making T-Shirts (by sowing words and patterns on ol'cheapos).
Im look rather looking forwards to returning home, ive grown tired of having my head and heart torn up, but i guess that will be quite the same story back home.
Looks like i'll just have to adjust.

Summer is over and what a Summer is was.

From Berlin to Switzerland and much more.

Now Summer wouldn't’ be summer without a camping trip, so my friends and I load up a few cars and heading out to bombeseer for 2 nights.
When we arived we were treated with a wunderbar rain shower, which made setting up the tents a little interesting.
Thankfully the next day was much better and we could frolic down by the lake and hire a bunch of bike at made a grand tour.
That night the friendly neibours came over and we shared food and jokes.
The next morning was a bit of drag caus we had to leave early.

Once I had returned there was no time to waste, In 2 hours I was leaving for Switzerland for a joint meeting between our sister club.
The journey to Switzerland consistered of 10 minute dreams flickering on and off like and old fluorescent light that’s past its prime and the worst traffic jams in the world.
Switzerland was incredible, I've never seen so many bells (on the cows).
Highlights include Climbing Mt Regi, becoming fairly active as a 1st time supporter at an ice Hockey game and lets not forget those stark Swiss accents.

In other news it seems were fianally getting more exchange students around here (eg: more than me).
Yesterday a boy from Cananda arivved in town and tomorrow a girl from Chile.

I met the Canadian today, it was like Déjà vu.
He reminded me of myself when I first
arrived, all fish out of water like and alienated.
So it looks like I'm going to have to hold their hands for a while as neither speak German, (the Canadian speaks fluent french and the Chilean only speaks Spanish)

Tommorow I think ill invite them both to checkout Stuttgart, providing the Chilean doesn't  feel like she had here head rammed through tiny airplane toliet door (as I image her flight was over 20 hours. Mine was 28, ah Death)

    Will out.

    Hallo mein Kinder!

    I'm back from Berlin.

    Strange Place!
I was up for a week with my host Dad and Brother to pick up his visa (for his exchange to the US) and to do some good ol sight seeing.
Sadly, it was on the day that I was invited to north Germany, to see one of my North American friends before she went home.
But the was no way i could have gone, this was Berlin, my host father had planned this for weeks.
So we embarked on Tuesday, i must say i didn't enjoy the 4 hours of ear bleeding blues guitar solos in the car.
I mean for goodness sake, I don't normally bitch about other peoples music but everysingle bloody blues song sounds freakin the same!

My first day morning in Berlin
    didn't fare much better.
    The
American Embassy my host brother need to go to decided to fuck us around for 3 and half hours, for a 2 minute interview!

Over the next days few days got to see the best of Berlin; Brandenburg tor, Checkpoint
Charlie, Potsdamer Platz, all the interesting sights.
The one thing about that makes berlin thats so speical is jits unquiceness.
Before the WW2, the centre of town was (as funny as it seems) in the center, after the wall went up there was 2 centers and now with the walls remains bringing more people to berlin rather then keeping then out, there is a third new center (Aka old new town?).

Shoppingwise, nothing I bought seems to be...er right, my real Russian guard army cap is to small, my trendy Berlin jacket is to big and the record shop diddn't have the Bright Eyes dvd (Saddle Creek) so i settled for a Death Cab one ( Drive Well, Sleep carefully).
    Enough gloating/woe over junk.

But the most uncanny thing was bumping into a bunch of exchange students from Forcheim (That Aussie Ass Daniel and his partner in crime NZs Kat).
    Despite finding these guys
INCREDIBLY ANNOYING, I met up with them later that night in hope of bumping into someone else I knew within their Rotary posse.
No such luck, but i did met a funny
Brazilian guy who some how had manged to break five windows on separate occasions since January.

Despite being in amazing place, I felt restless, uneasy and well downright loney.
I was that sinking felling when you let someone down, but not someone.
    A ghost, a silhouette, a whisper

(Now, I got to cesore this for Rotarys `insight' report.....ah where is that delete key)

On Monday the whole year took a trip to Munich to vist the museum of Science, much fun was had apart from the 3-4 hour bus trip there, in which everyone just sleep/listened to music.
The museum was huggggggggeeee, but most of it was boring apart from the displays about Space (astronomics and astrology) and the enormous hanger room filled with airplanes.
Afterwards I headed out with Tholi, Helene and Annika and experienced some typical München food; MACCAS!
Then we hit the shops and I picked up two new T-shirts (one was a Müchen souvenir).
On the way home we stopped at a petrol Station and some of the boys bought beer (It was too expensive for my liking) and smoked Fags with teachers.

    Strange.

Since I was in Munich once before i didn't bother with photos of landmarks.

    8:27 am
Since its to late to get back to sleep and ive finished my morning routine, ill give a recap of the last couple days.

On Friday it was Walters Birthday BBQ, I got my invite over the phone on thursday but my music was so loud that most of the 20 second coversation was inaudioable.
Having not really grasped the details, i went back to my music bubble knowing that i would just be able to ask Tholi or Domi where it was.
The Next day Tholi filled me in on the info but he was going much later so i had no ride.
Frustrated, i called up Rich and he agreed to pick me up.

The party turned out to be very low key and at first we all jus layed about in the greatout doors under some daunting black rain clouds.
The Guests trickled in slowly; some guys i didnt know, a few band members, klasse mates and fianally Tholi and Helene.
Turns out i needed not ask rich because Helene came by to pick me up, but id already left.
Soon it started pissing rain and we scuttled into a nearby shed with arms flailing with bottles of beer and steak, Twas funny.

Walter, Being Walter, Cracked open some bottles of his farms peach schnapps and spaß followed suit.
Tonight however, i diecide to stay sober intill everyone else was drunk.
After my first Schnapps (some two hours after the others first), Helene und i proceded to trick everyone into having two Schnapps at once, like we did, but we only drank water. ahaha!
Walter soon got his present (a beer t-shirt, how fitting) then Helene and broke out into somekind of drinking war.
    (Will 5-7 : Helene 6-8 .......: Walter 10).

At about 2 we all went home, Helenes Mum picked me which a was very glad of cause Rich was in not in the state of mind (or blood level) to drive.

On Saturday I went to Stuttgart with my father and we picked up some bass strings, ate at 'big ol Steak House'  and got anbushed by a hord of Anti-Lebinon Communists. Intreasting.

That Night was the last night of the theater that im working in, it went along fine.

(coming soon, Müchen, class party and the hair cut from hell!

July, July, never felt so strange
I Moved into my new host family house last week, pretty nice.
But there is one REALLY fREAKY thing, my host dad is a lot like my real dad (he's even a lawyer), so i reckon they would get on well together.
My Room is rather amazing, its covered in guitars (11) plus a drum machine and alot of other cool stuff.
The other great thing about my new family is, they live right in the middle of town, so i can walk to school and friends.

Last week i was in France  for two hours.
    Yep.
    Long.

My host father had a meeting right near the Border, so i came along and the we drove to France and dinned in style (gosh those frence people are odd).

In other new, i've been feeling pretty bad, i dont know why, just do.
    .....
Maybe caus two of my friends had to say goodbye to a person they liked very much.
(you guys know who you are)

Well, I'm gonna take a walk.

    Hallo Alles!

    News?

Well I’m sure you all heard about the Socceroos defeat in the World Cup.
I witnessed all the hysterics from inside the local football tent.
    Never mind, fairs fair (cough).

I’m preparing to leave my first host family and move into the next, which will be interesting and even perhaps a little hard, now that I’ve been with my first for so long.
On the other hand I’ll be right slap bang in the centre of town and quite close to my friends.
    No more bus, huzzah!

The other week I finally met some other exchange students at a Rotary meeting in Castle Focheim.
We visited Bamberg and Nuremberg and a few other places, it was great to meet other exchange students but sadly most of them have to go back to their home countries between now and next week.

School’s going great too, Today I made a presentation about Australian food and I baked Lamingtons.
They didn’t look too stunning but everyone agreed they tasted better than Vegemite on Toast.

Speaking of stunning, I was stunned to find that one of my favourite band’s is play a FREE show on Saturday in Bonn.
My Friend Rahpi and I will be heading down to catch Death Cab For Cutie at the Rhine Kultura Fest.
I’m total stoked (um, that means very excited) as I’ve never been to a concert of a famous band before.

    Bad new?
Well I visited the Docter 3 times in the last month or so, which isn’t too good.
So I Better get in touch with my Insurance.
The other downer is I can’t find anyplace’s on a euro tour, I’ll keep searching but things aren’t looking too bright.

Well apart from that I’m have an awesome time here and get the strong impression everyone else is too.

    Well.

    Bis Später.

Well Well, I guess i'm not so unlucky because:

I'm Seeing Death Cab For Cutie

    in Bonn and for Free!

Well, I still must pay for Transportation but hey.
In other news I am completely out of money but since I don't think I'll be making a Euro Tour I don't feel to guiltily.
Currently I'm making Lamingtons for a school presentation in bio (yes it's in german)
    Yummy.

You all know how good my cooking skills are (especially those who were in my Year 10 camping group.)

Yesterday I was in the big tent in town for the Soccer game: Germany vs Sweden.
    Twas Schweaty.
Afterwards I went with the Singer of MGA and his girlfriend to eat Currywurst at a Diner thingy.
Then we cruised in a open top BMW to a Local open air band Show and I made sure that all got a glimpse of me in my aviator glory.

The Band was very entertaining apart for the music....
Well it was quite a enjoyable night and I hung out with Lumpp and Helene (she even commented on my 'Schön' (lovely) new jumper).

Well I better get back to homework.

    Will

My Jumper is here for you viewing pleasure.
